Z42 FEM on Fast Budsin rajoitetun erän F1-hybridi, jossa painotus on selvästi aromiprofiilissa, ulkonäössä ja huolellisesti valitussa genetiikassa. Valmistajan mukaan lajike on rakennettu Z3:n (Terphogz) ja Candy Fumezin (Bloom Seed Co.) pohjalle, ja emokasvit on valittu yhtiön oman fenotyyppihaun kautta. Valintakriteereinä korostuivat elinvoima, rakenne, näyttävyys ja ennen kaikkea poikkeuksellinen terpeeniprofiili. Tämä on erikoiserä.

Fast Buds kuvaa lajiketta täyteläisen candy gas -linjan edustajaksi, jossa yhdistyvät makea Z-sävy, trooppinen hedelmäisyys, kermainen sorbetti ja pehmeä polttoaineinen vivahde. Aromit ovat lajikkeen keskiössä. Geneettinen jakauma on valmistajan mukaan tasainen 50 % sativaa ja 50 % indicaa, mikä tukee hybridi-identiteettiä myös teknisellä tasolla. THC-pitoisuudeksi ilmoitetaan enintään 31 %, kun taas CBD jää alle yhden prosentin.
