Runtz on karkkisemman Cookies-genetiikan kulminaatiopiste: Gelato #41:n ja alkuperäisen Zkittlezin yhdistelmä, joka syntyi Kaliforniassa. Se tunnetaan erityisen näyttävästä ilmiasustaan ja hurmaavista tuoksuistaan.
Runtz oli mm. Leaflyn valitsema vuoden lajike vuonna 2020. Lisäksi useita cup-voittoja (mm. Emerald Cup 2019).
