Pineapple Madness R2 – The Grateful Seeds

Crazy Noa is the cornerstone of Grateful Seeds' long breeding project, a specialty with a strong pineapple-like aroma. This specimen found a worthy crossing partner when Grateful Seeds was introduced to a Strawberry Banana cuttings from the USA.

Bred by Reserva Privada in partnership with Serious Seeds, Strawberry Banana is a multiple cup winner that brought together Serious Seeds' line-bred Bubblegum and the legendary Banana Kush.

The Strawberry Banana cuttings used to breed the variety have a more pronounced cherry than banana aroma. Crossed with this, Crazy Noa has retained its fruitiness at its freest.

Following the testing phase of Pineapple Madness, Grateful Seeds conducted a wider pheno hunt. This resulted in the selection of the two most exemplary females (#16 & #17), which were crossed to create a feminized F2 generation (R2).

The cross was made with the sole aim of capturing the fresh aromas of fresh pineapple - without a trace of fermented fruit.

The variety is a one shot edition produced by Grateful Seeds, so this upcoming collector's item is worth grabbing now!
