Barney's Farm's Pineapple Express was developed by crossing a Hawaiian heritage strain with Trainwreck. Trainwreck is a cross of Afghan, Mexican and Thai strains, known as a vigorous and highly tolerant variety. 

This long-necked, sativa-rich hybrid is known for its fruity, predominantly pineapple scent with earthy piney notes.

The variety is also generally considered to be very resistant to mould and pests.

Pineapple Express is a Feminized variety with Photoperiodic photoperiod.. Its producer is Barney's Farm. This variety is chemotyped Type I (THC-dominant).
