Orange Groovy BX – The Grateful Seeds
Some years ago, Grateful Seeds selected the Orange Cookies cuttings, which carry the pungent scent of blood orange. This variety, created by Obsoul33t Genetics, is a cross between the original Girl Scout Cookies and Gage Green Genetics' Orange Juice.
This was crossed with In-House Genetics' 26mm - the flavour bomb favoured by extract artisans. It was born from the union of Zkittlez backcross Z Cube and Trainwreck and Diesel-backed Allen Wrench. Its growth potential and abundance is industrial grade.
From this cross, Orange Groovy was born. The strain placed first in the Breeders Indica series of the 420 Cup organised by International Cannagraphic Magazine in 2019, marking the beginning of Grateful Seeds' illustrious history and winning streak.
The winning strain was backcrossed to one of its parents. This established its - exceptionally delicious - orange and Skittles candy-like aroma.
It is also not uncommon to see specimens of this variety that develop into full dark purple.
Orange Groovy BX is a Feminized variety with Photoperiodic photoperiod.. Its producer is The Grateful Seeds. This variety is chemotyped Type I (THC-dominant).
