Mimosa x Orange Punch – Barney's Farm

A new variety for Barney's Farm in 2021. This has quickly become one of the best-selling hybrid varieties offered by Barney's Farm.

The selected Mimosa Evo was backcrossed to Barney's original Orange Punch. This was able to retain the distinctive flavours of Mimosa Evo and produce plants of a more compact size with an unprecedented burst of colour.

The aroma, reminiscent of sweet mandarin caramels, is mainly created by the interplay of terpenes such as caryophyllene, linalool and limonene.

Careful breeding has brought together varieties known for their tropical seduction, acidic citrus and sweet fruity aromas - and finally the profile has been established through careful backcrossing.

Mimosa x Orange Punch is a modern hybrid that shows off the breeding work that has been taken to the extreme. The different individuals of the variety are very robust and compact.

A large proportion of the phenotypes reach a very intense colour range of deep purple and striking orange towards the end of their life - with a remarkable, almost glamorous, trichome covering.

Mimosa x Orange Punch is perhaps the most tropical-feeling variety of the moment - and of all time. This is the start of summer!
