Guava IX is the creation of Top Dawg Seeds, a company based on the east coast of the United States, which sought to establish the more fruity phenotype of Stardawg. Stardawg itself is a line that has risen to legendary fame, merging a backcross of Chemdog #4 and Chemdog D.

Grateful Seeds' Spanish partner The Bimo's way has selected a cuttings of Guava IX, with its acidic, chemical-like flavours that will knock you over.

Another partner, La Kalada, has a Key Lime Pie from its stable. They have obtained this cuttings from NorCal Genetics in Humboldt, California.

Key Lime Pie has a reputation as an extremely delicious cookie phenotype that, as its name suggests, produces lime pie-like flavours.

This cross of two excellent varieties has already achieved considerable popularity in the Barcelona scene.

Guava Cake is a Feminized variety with Photoperiodic photoperiod.. Its producer is The Grateful Seeds. This variety is chemotyped Type I (THC-dominant).
