Ehrlich Reagent Test Kit for Substance Identification

The Ehrlich test kit is a crucial tool for determining the presence of indoles in powders or paper samples. It's sensitive to a range of substances, including LSD, DMT, 5-MeO-tryptamines (e.g., 5-MeO-DMT), 4-HO-tryptamines (like psilocin), harmaline, and harmine.

This kit is designed for the specific identification of substances within a mixture. While it does not measure substance concentration, the ProTest purity tester (note: may not be compatible with other brands' purity testers) is available for those needs. For enhanced accuracy, combining several different reagent testers is recommended, as each detects various substances differently.

To aid in the effective identification of substances, utilizing multiple reagent tests is advisable. The reagent tester primarily reacts to the substance that triggers the most significant reaction in the mixture.

Included in the kit are: the Ehrlich reagent, vermiculite, a porcelain reaction vessel, a mixing pad, protective gloves, and a user guide. Test results can be interpreted with the help of a smartphone app.
