Double Grape on Mephisto Geneticsin F7 feminisoitu autoflower-lajike, jonka virallinen geneettinen tausta on Sour Stomper × Grape Crinkle. Valmistaja ilmoittaa jaoksi 60 % indica ja 40 % sativa. Kyseessä on yksi Mephiston Reserva-sarjan tunnetuista lajikkeista.
Double Grape tunnettiin alun perin osana Mephiston toista Illuminauto-julkaisua. Se eteni myöhemmin valmistajan mukaan myydyimmäksi Limited Edition -lajikkeeksi ja jäi lopulta pysyvään valikoimaan. Taustalla on kaksi viinirypäleprofiiliin nojaavaa linjaa. Sour Stomper tuo mukaan Sour Crack- ja Grape Stomper OG -perimää, Grape Crinkle taas Canadian Crinkle-, Supernatural- ja Ripley’s OG -taustaa.
Aromeissa korostuvat makea ja hapan viinirypäle sekä kaasumainen vivahde. Mephisto kuvaa makua syväksi punaiseksi viinirypäleeksi ja makeaksi rypälelimuksi. Makuavainsanat ovat hedelmäinen, hapan ja makea. Tämä on lajikkeen tunnistettavin osa.
