Double Dutch

Double Dutch is a cannabis variety originally developed by Magus Genetics, a cross between the Warlock male cannabis strain and the Chronic female cannabis strain developed before 2000. Serious Seeds has added this popular strain to its portfolio and it is available as feminised seed.

In growing conditions, Double Dutch expresses its indica side with broad leaves, heavy stems and a bushy habit. At flowering, it produces large sativa-type buds, like the parent plant Chronic. All parts of the plant that receive light form massive dense buds that resemble elongated popcorn balls. The side branches of the Double Dutch must be supported because of their heavy weight.

Double Dutch does well in bio, coco and hydro media. It has a pleasant fruity wildflower scent, and its smoke has a complex and powerful effect that includes a brain-stimulating and pleasurable physical effect. As a result, the variety has won several awards.

Double Dutch is a compact and shrubby plant with a substantial trunk, but it produces huge buds covered in dense resin that reveal its dominant sativa origin. Supporting the buds may be necessary because of their massive size. Double Dutch's honey-sweet scent is less penetrating than its ancestor Warlock, and it delivers a heavy and intelligent high.
