Acid – Paradise Seeds

Acid is Paradise Seeds' take on the New York Sour Diesel, a blend of Mexican and Afghan landrace strains that came to the attention of amateurs in the early 2000s. Like its predecessor, the plant expresses a very intense sour, pungent, metallic or petrol-like smell, hence its name.

The classic has been enhanced with the bounty of Paradise Seeds' own seed vault to enhance its indica-like qualities. The result is a genetically stronger strain, but one that retains the NYC Diesel heritage, with a Dutch twist.

Acid is a hybrid that is a bit like Indica. Its terpene profile includes terpinolenic, limonene, pinene and osimeen. This combination produces a subtle fruity sweetness on the side of a quite noticeable metallic petrol bitterness.

This tropical variety is particularly common in the Mediterranean regions, where it enjoys the warmth of the sun, reaching for the sky and attaining a long, whispering stem, but it is also found in the higher latitudes, where it normally retains a more subdued appearance.

Acidia has been praised by the international enthusiast community for its nurturing spirit, which has even been described as an angel's touch.

Acid is well suited to the collection of the slightly more advanced collector, for example as part of a collection of new types of hybrids.

Acid is a Feminized variety with Photoperiodic photoperiod.. Its producer is Paradise Seeds. This variety is chemotyped Type I (THC-dominant).
